I agree with all the comments being made here. I am actually not into wineries and wines at all. I went on this tour because Elohim speaks very good English and has a great attitude and sense of humour and it was a lovely experience seeing towns that are almost impossible to see unless you hire a car and then... We chose the Pays Ages tour and spent a very nice time. The guide, Elohim, who is a very nice person was very well documented and the mood was really friendly. We saw a protected area where wild orchids grow and raspberries and blackcurrants' fields. We tasted burgundian truffles ! It was a great moment. We had a lot of... More

Once I had decided on the 'Beaunny Time' wine and cheese tour with Alter and Go (based on reading the reviews on TA) I emailed Elohim, the owner of the company, and made a booking back in March this year. On the day of our tour there was 2 other couples who joined us on our discovery tour of Burgundy,... More

We signed up for a tour with Elohim based on his positive Tripadvisor reviews. We were careful to confirm our reservation and the meeting spot as we saw a couple of issues with that in previous reviews. Upon arriving at the designated meeting spot, we met Elohim and he informed us that he was booked on another tour and one... More

We spent a Sunday (25 March 2012) in Dijon and decided to go and visit the vineyards. Elohim was our guide (on his birthday!). We went through the vineyards, tasted wine at Philippe Leclerc's, tasted truffles and breathed the knowledge of Bourgogne wine making thanks to Elohim who is passionate about this art. We learned a lot more than what... More

I am a part-time wine journalist and wine educator who travels extensively. After paying for all 3 wine agencies available in Dijon, I found Elohim's tours to be not only to be the most fun and educational, but also very well-priced. Elohim not only has a tremendous sense of humour, but a deep passion about Burgundy wines. Coming from a... More

My friend and I booked this tour through the Office of Tourisme in Dijon. Elohim was our guide. He was informative, energetic and a pleasure! My friend and I learned a tremendous amount about wine, the making, labeling and the various growing regions. The labeling is still a bit confusing, it is not something you can pretend to understand in... More

Elohim offers the simple one person tour of his lifelong home! He shares its foibles, its triumphs and himself. A winemaker with years of experience, but a person from a small village that will give you insight to the human condition in a region all humanity should admire. The tour begins in the Dijon market, a creation of Eiffel himself,... More

Elo provided us with the best views of Burgundy. He included a trip to the "truffle man" where we got a taste of French truffles and interesting truffle products. We visited wineries, had a delightful lunch at an outdoor cafe, and a thoroughly delightful and informative day. His English is perfect (although my French was not)... I would recommend that... More

Elo arrived write on time and was a delight from start to finish to afterwards. The day was full of surprises including truffle farms, old chateaux, small wineries, great lunch. Elo is energetic, smart and has a great sense of humor. I wouldn't have anyone other than Elo take me through Burgundy! More
