Just around the corner from the chateau. Magnificent display of DaVinci inventions in his house and the surrounding park lands.

I went to Clos Luce simply because it was where Leonardo died (and I thought he died in Italy). Well, it is a whole lot more than that. It is a Leonardo DaVinci museum which taught me 20 times more than I ever learned about this amazing man in my history classes when I was a boy (a time not...

Very interesting place to see some of Da Vinci's inventions. Nice house and vast gardens. If you have kids it would be great. The gardens are filled with life sized copies of some inventions that are interactive. Great for children.
The house is interesting but majored on three years of the circa 600 years of its life.
Over priced compared...

Interesting perspective of where Da Vinci lived for the last 3 years of his life, and of his numerous inventive designs. Minimal coverage of his artwork which was a little disappointing.

It was a cold, rainy day when we visited, but Clos Luce was one of my favorite sights. It is lovely renaissance architecture. The models of Leonardo da Vinci's inventions are very interesting. Limited eating options: the creperie has only 4 tables. There is an outdoor eating area, but it was very cold and raining the day we visited.

House was very nice and well preserved. I expected the museum to have more artifacts, instead of models of DiVinci's designs. Would have been a really interesting place for children.

When King Francis I (1515-47) returned from fighting the Italian Wars, he convinced Leonardo to spend his last years (alas, less than two) in his kingdom, he set him up in Clos...

Not the best exhibit of Leonardo artifacts, but as his final residence it gives you a sense of how he lived. I'd do it again.

This attraction is often overshadowed by better known and advertised sites. If you're going to be in the area I would highly recommend visiting. Da Vinci was a genius and way ahead of his time. This museum captures many of his ideas and inventions and gives you a good insight into the mind of this creative man. Look for the...
