One of the pre-eminent cathedrals in Europe, it is magnificent and awe-inspiring. There is a special light show that is taking place every night for the next few months after dark. Gorgeous and imaginative! More

Nothing more to say, this place is rightly a World Heritage site designated by UNESCO. Very moving. They are currently cleaning the Cathedral little by little and it will be absolutely beautiful when it's finished, well even more beautiful. I will return. Unmissable if you are visiting Paris for a week or so, a lovely day out. More

Amazing interior and the stained glass windows were amazing. It was a wet and cold day in Chartres, so the catherdral was very cold inside making our visit brief. There are topurs of the catacombs offered where on can see the veil of Mary, but we did nt arrive at a convenient time to stay for the tour. More
