We had tickets to the Paris Story from the Paris Pass. It had a lot of potential, but did not deliver. This was a multimedia presentation, but did not fulfill what it was supposed to do. --- It did not give a clear orientation to Paris --- It did not give any depth to the History of France or Paris... Wanted to share my experience from last night. We were a group of 4 women, all experienced travelers to Paris, who went to a concert at Sainte Chapelle and then hopped on the metro at Cite. A group of 4 - 5 young girls crowded in after us, pushing, and one of them frantically pointed at her wrist wanting to... More

When I saw the brochure for the first time I expected a tourist trap, but when I descended into the spacious basement where Paris Story is located, I was rather surprised. It was better than I thought. It consists of a large scale model of the city where you can push buttons to see the location of all the main... More

We read about this place from a leaflet ( ParisPass ) and we thought it would be interesting to hear some history facts about Paris. The place is not hard to find, but I would have liked to see on their website some information about its position related to a reference point, beside the street name. Cons: - even if... More

Overpriced, underwhelming! You would be better to donate your money to charity....you would at least get a good feeling. More

The main part of the Paris Story is a multimedia introduction to Paris and its history. This gives a great perspective at the start of a visit, and is attractively put together. Perhaps more for adults and children with an interest in History. Headphones allow you to hear the commentary in languages other than French. In the entrance foyer is... More

This was the first thing we did in Paris. We thought it would be a great overview of what there is to do in Paris. But, we got there just as the movie was starting. It was a historical overview of the city. Boring. I actually fell asleep during the movie. I just couldn't keep my eyes open. I guess... More

We went into the Paris story after a long day of walking. It was very Parisian decor with wonderful Parisian music playing. The interactive model of the city is wonderful to get an idea of the whereabouts of everything. The touch screen computers were fantastic to view video clips and further information on the beautiful sites of Paris. The wide... More

I had hoped to go to the movie at the beginning of our Paris trip to get an overview, but we didn't get to see it until the end of our trip. No matter. The film wouldn't have made any difference. I had thought we'd get a real history of Paris, but instead, it barely skimmed any surface--just lots of... More

There are so many things you really want to do instead in Paris this is one you can skip. It last about 40 minutes. The French words are as loud as your translations. It really is so vague it is hard to learn anything about Paris from it. You get in free with the Paris Pass and if you want... More
