I would say that this is one of the most interesting places to visit in Paris especially if you're interested in history. Other sites give you great views of the city but this place can actually keep you entertained for hours. There are rooms featuring artefacts, maps, videos from both world war one and world war two - all very... more

You can spend a long time here if you want. The war museums if you're into history and even if not worth a look if for nothing else the equipment used in each era. The church itself is just beautiful, then with Napoleons tomb in back (attached, whichever) to the larger church it's just a great place to visit. I'd... more

Great place to go ..... For just 8 euro, one can see 3 museums and 2 churches !!! Obviously, the must see, for it's historic significance is apoleon tomb..... However, the museum of the world war (in the first floor) is extremely detailed and information is presented both in france and english. more

The best metro station to get off at is Ecole Militaire (line 8) as the ticket office is in the south western tip of the Museum. From there it's a 10 minute walk along the Avenue de Tourville or you can take the number 82 or 92 bus from right outside the station. It's only one stop. Once you've got... more

Thought it was to be just about Napoleon but so much more. If you are into military history from medieval times thru World War II, you will be amazed. Even if not a history buff, like us, we found the WWII museum fascinating, especially seeing it from a non US point of view. Napoleons tomb was very very impressive as... more

I'm a little confused because there seems to be two entries for the same attraction on trip advisor. I'm surprised there are not more reviews for this place. It is absolutely amazing. I recommend seeing this and putting it towards the top of your list. I do remember it not being crowded (more people visiting Eiffel and Louvre) and I... more

This is a place that you must see if you visit Paris. The architecture is phenomenal. This is the place where Napolean tomb is as well as some other leaders/soldiers. There is also a museum of armour as well. The building's courtyard is huge. The place is large and too much to describe in words. It's someplace you must see... more

We visited this museum and loved EVERYTHING about it. We spent 1/2 the day here and it was one of our favorite days. Eat at the cafe, the food is really good. I noticed they don't have a website listed for it so I hope this helps out the people like me who like to plan a head, this is... more

We walked the dome church on 21st April. We looked around the museum first which was really interesting for those interested in the history elements of france, german etc. They had a whole expedition on the holocaust which was quite distressing lots of images and artifacts from the war. We then went to Nepolean's tomb which was a really peaceful... more
