We went to the Eiffel tower on the 15/11/08. We went to the first level and it was'ent very high. Then we went to the second level and it was high. We went to the third level and it was very high. The people looked like dots. more

Without a doubt, I love the Eiffel Tower. It's beautiful from every angle, from any distance, day or night. I was slightly less impressed, however, with the views from the tower than I was with views of the tower. We walked to Arc de Triomphe from the Hilton and hopped on the double decker bus tour. We took this all around Paris and got off at Tour Eiffel. A visit to Paris is incomplete without going up the Eiffel Tower, but plan your trip and prepare to stand in line for 2 hours. It is the most famous destination in Europe after all. Paid the full whack of €12 to go right to the top. Levels 1 and 2 are about €4and €7 respectively. Took about 1 hour queing on North leg, made up of two separate queues - one to get to level 2 and then next to go to the top. Then you have to queue to go down again. However... more
