Nice building, lots of nice art work, don't miss the paintings in the basement. Take a stroll in the park afterwards. More

Excellent exhibit with many Monets, in a lovely old mansion, with is beautifully furnished. Only drawback was the lack of being able to check your coat, (I saw they do allow checking of backpacks and helmets) Also, that they seemed startled by English speaking visitors, they did not offer headphones, available at extra cost. Visitor signs at entrance desk should... More

This collection is in a house, to the west of downtown, just inside the beltline. It is a few blocks to the nearest metro stop. The location seems to trim the tourists a good deal. This collection holds some of my favorite works by Monet. There are MANY paintings of water lilies. I particularly like how the audio guide discussed... More

If you are a Monet fan or you love impressionism, here is where you should go! You will found one of the most beautiful paintings in the world. And as always, high quality comes in small amounts. So, you will find a relative small, cosy museum decorated with wonderful masterpieces. In conclusion: if you are visiting Paris, this is a... More

An excellent collection of paintings, especially the works of monet, along with an interesting old house with empire furnishings. I'm starting to understand Monet even more. Do this before the orangerie. More

The exhinbit of Berthe Marisot and her connections to the Manets was fascinating. The problem, as I explained to one of the "responsables" was the poor ventilation and permitting too many viewers at one time, which I always find both distracting and hard to navigate. The Museum is definitely woth a visit and there is a marvellou park right next... More

This is a mansion that was dedicated as a museum and is filled with Monet's and special exhibits. The Monet's are very accessible--you can walk right up to them--and some of his finest. The building itself is very special and well maintained and getting to it you get to walk through a beautiful park and neighborhood. Unlike the D'Orsay or... More

very nice paintings in a beautifull house in a nice neighbourhood. No possibility of drinking a cup of coffee even its a pitty. They are somewhat obsessed with "stealing" of paintings. In itself the collection is beautifull. More
