I booked my trip to Paris when I had a girlfriend. We broke up close to the time of the trip, so I went alone. I walked down this boulevard and couldn't help but think all these restaurants were very romantic. I made myself a deal that I would take a girl to Paris the next time I went.

Go to Renault and try out the new Twizy, buy macarons from Ladurée, see a film in the cinéma UGC Normandie salle 1 (it's HUGE) and if you still have time then have a peek in the new M&S on the opposite side of the road.

It's the Times Square of Paris. No Parisian goes here. It's all chain stores now. Go to see it once. Don't eat or drink there. Everything is overpriced and the service will be terrible. If you need to go to H&M on a Sunday, then this is the place.

this avenue is great if you love to shop, especially at high end stores but not that great if you really want to take in the sights. it was very crowded and a pleasant walk but wasn't my favorite place to walk in Paris..i would say if you miss it you aren't missing out on anything.

just bunch of expensive shops, shopping assistant /vendors are somewhat arrogant if they think you don't have money to spend in their shop. waiter are so use to tourist that sometime forgot the meaning of service. But the view is lovely especially in the evening with the light and there are a lot of activity you can do or places...
