I booked my trip to Paris when I had a girlfriend. We broke up close to the time of the trip, so I went alone. I walked down this boulevard and couldn't help but think all these restaurants were very romantic. I made myself a deal that I would take a girl to Paris the next time I went. More

Go to Renault and try out the new Twizy, buy macarons from Ladurée, see a film in the cinéma UGC Normandie salle 1 (it's HUGE) and if you still have time then have a peek in the new M&S on the opposite side of the road. More

It's the Times Square of Paris. No Parisian goes here. It's all chain stores now. Go to see it once. Don't eat or drink there. Everything is overpriced and the service will be terrible. If you need to go to H&M on a Sunday, then this is the place. More

This might have been a nice place some decades ago, before the consumer goods and fast food companies opened their doors. More

If you love crowds, overpriced shops and seeing tourists from around the world, this is the place for you. If you love overpriced and not very good food, eat in one of the restaurants located on the Champs Elysees. In other words, this is no longer a very French place that conveys life in Paris but rather a spot that... More

Close your eyes and imagine it’s 1940. You are standing watching the German occupation take place before your eyes. You are in the heart of the Paris culture. Now open your eyes and witness the present day hustle of daily life among the locals and tourists. This area is one of the best in all of Paris. Only one since... More

this avenue is great if you love to shop, especially at high end stores but not that great if you really want to take in the sights. it was very crowded and a pleasant walk but wasn't my favorite place to walk in Paris..i would say if you miss it you aren't missing out on anything. More
