This place has awesome macarons, pastries and chocolates although it lacks almond croissants. Best of all it's open on Sundays when everything else in Paris is closed. An absolute joy overall, which is why it's always packed. more

Pastry shops in Paris are such a cliche that one expects them all to be fantastic. And that is simply NOT THE CASE. A stand-out from the crowd is Gerard Mulot. Wow! The macaroons alone are worth the trip. So many flavors, so many colors, we always buy a box or three on our last day to bring back to... more
