This museum offered so much more than I expected. I spent about 3 hours there and could have spent most of a day as I am a military history buff and was in heaven. So sorry I had to rush to some of the attractions as time was limited. Of particular note are the magnificent collection of uniforms. I have... More

I've discovered there is just so much of museums I enjoy. There was almost too much of here to really enjoy or allow time for. We headed to the WWII wing and enjoyed that and were happy having seen it. More

The building may be ancient, but the museum is first class in it's organization, layout, and information. If you take your time here, you will leave knowing more about WWI and WWII than if you had studied it in college. Check out the arms and armour of the Middle Ages and there is another good education for you! More

As with most tourist sites in Paris if you are under 25 you can get your ticket for free, we went to see Napoleons tomb after hearing about Les Invalides on the segway tour and this was a little extra. We rushed around a little as we had a meal booked that night but its all very interesting and most... More

This was a place I wanted to make sure we got to for my history, especially war history, loving husband. It walks you through from year to year, and we all found it surprisingly interesting. If you have any interest in military history, this is a must see. More

Never saw more armor in one place. The history of World War I and II was good too. More

Museum was excellent but you would think Architects would understand women need more toiletries than men. This is an area of improvement for the museum . The entrance toilette is shared by both genders, rediculous for such a historical attraction. More

I never really considered going to this museum but we decided too because we were not to far from it after The Roden Museum. I was very impressed to see the military garb including Naopolians cape and Hat on a Statue of him. The Tomb as well. a must see if you like the military history of France. More

This museum which is located next to Napoleon's Tomb at Invalides presents exhibits of the development of arms and armaments through the ages as well as an excellent exhibit of WW I and WW II. We had our grandchildren with us and they were enthralled as well. Coupled with a visit to Napoleon's tomb, this makes for a wonderful visit. More
