This is a very beautiful Parisian Palais, and a very welcome escape from the Hustle and Bustle of the surrounding streets. Perfect to grab a baguette and enjoy it in the surrounds of the Palais, with its symmetrical gardens changing dramatically with each season. The surrounding shops and restaurants on the ground floor are definitely worth a look More

I love that this place is hidden away behind the walls. Only the curious and learned know it is there. Beautiful shops line the park including Pierre Hardy and Marc Jacobs. Also shop to buy your Legion of Honor pin. More

Nice and quiet garden to have a break after visiting the Louvres or the Opera Garnier... Especially nice in the spring and summer. More

If you visit or even just if you like Paris, you have to admit that some most beautiful building in Paris are from XVIII century and they are parts of the fabulous charm of this city. So Palais Royal is one of them. It is just a square building with a garden but with a very specific charm. More

The commentary was particularly good in providing background information about the Steins. The gallery had done a good job in assembling many of the paintings originally acquired by the Steins but long since sold on. More

Time is suspended inside those walls of History and Beauty, a very relaxing place for walking, seating on a bench, admiring flowers, kissing, shopping, eating ice creams. More

The Palais Royal Gardens, when originally built right across from the Louvre in the late 1700's (some money hungnry prince's real estate venture), wher THE place to go in Paris. Your had NOT been to Paris if you had missed the Palais Royal. Admittedly, that was for some reasons that no linger exist, such as the houses of ill repute... More

This is a beautiiful garden with a lot of vintage and fashion shops in the arcades that go along the garden. You will find the most amazing things there and on a sunny day the gardens are great to hang out in (with all the local Parisians working on their summer sun tan!). There's a few cafes and restaurants as... More

The outside of the building is no more impressive than many of the buildings around but the tranquil gardens are the prettiest we saw, including versailles, although that is a tough comparsion due to the size, these are small and quiet, unlike crowded massive versailles. More
