The week before is qualifying. In addition to no crowds, cheap entrance (20 euros), great tennis, you also get to see all the top players up close practicing. Many of the top pros play a practice set with another pro. The Saturday right before the tournament is "children's day" and more crowded with lots of kids running around but still... More

It was a bit of a walk to the stadium from the Metro. The museum was not open at the time and the next tour was not for an hour so we didn't wait. We visited the gift shop but found the items there too overpriced to buy anything. Didn't see very much except for the outside of the stadium.... More

If you are in Paris in June try to get tickets for the Tennis Tournaments. The place is filled with atmosphere and the tournaments are so exciting. Certain nights there are Jazz concerts in the museum just at the entrance in a beautiful white and red room with International musicians. More

Roland Garros has an incredible structure. A lot of courts and stadiums for those who love tenis. If you are in France during the France Open, you definitively should go. There are a lot of discount tickets available on the website that allow you enter after 16h. More

The stadium is a little way out of the main city but worth a visit. It is on the way to Charles de Gaulle airport. More

Hubby and I had the time of our lives during our visit to the Roland Garros...an important point to note if u r going to attend the French Open is that NO tickets are available at the venue - you need to have booked and printed your tickets and need to take it with a photo ID to the venue.... More

Visited Paris over the last week of November and signed up for the tour of Roland Garros. I've watched the French Open since I was a kid and it was pretty cool to see the place in person. I did not pay for the museum and would advise against doing so. The tour however was very cool and really neat... More

The grand Roland Garros arena might be conveniently reached by metro (line L9 or L10) plus a few minutes of walking. To ensure that you shall be led by a guided tour, book it in advance as reference to the official tournament website. The tour is a truly amazing journey to explore 1 of 4 major annual tennis events round... More

After years of watching the French Open on TV, and never seeing red clay in the US, I was finally able to see Roland Garros on my Paris trip. I took the guided tour, and it was amazing!!!!! The locker rooms , press rooms and finally being able to walk on the clay, and enter where the players do, was... More
