It's not as popular as many attractions but my wife and I thought the Concierge building was the most meaningful due to the history that took place there. Beautiful 'Great Hall'. Good interpretation of prison cells etc. It was a little confronting to see all the names of the guillotine victims including the King and Queen; and Marie Antoinette's memorial in the chapel also gives pause for thought. Skipped the line with the Paris Pass, although it would have only been a 10-15 minute wait (fast in Paris!). Not as jaw-dropping as some of the main attractions in Paris, but we enjoyed and spent over an hour there. You can also tour prison cells and see a recreated cell that held Marie Antoinette. More
