I am frequently in Paris for business, and I always, always make time on the way back to Gare Du Nord (it helps that it is on the way from La Defence) to go to Angelina -it is an experience not to be missed.
Order a Mont Blanc, croissants and some hot chocolate, and your life will be complete.

Before we moved to Paris my partner's boss had taken him on a visit here describing the hot chocolate as the 'best in the world'. She wasn't wrong! Unlike anything else I've ever tasted Angelina hot chocolate is rich and delicious!

Beautiful surroundings, destroyed with rude staff and poor poor service. The pastries would be on par with supermarket fare. Ridiculous price for what you get. Coffee wasn't even great. Avoid if you enjoy quality!

I had a Mont Blanc cake and my boyfriend had french toast, both were delicious.

I am not a big fan...

In spite of reviews that tipped us off to the high prices, we wanted to try the famous hot chocolate. We had that, and some tarts and it was crazy overpriced, but so delicious!. The atmosphere was great, the servers were abrupt and a bit rude, but the overall experience was priceless.

I had really been looking forward to visiting Angelina's and it was just wonderful. We visited late afternoon after a long day of visiting the sites and in much need of a sit down. There was a very small queue when we arrived and we were waiting for just a few minutes before being led to a table.
We ordered...
