I highly recommend this museum as a diversion from Paris' more serious and renowned museums and sights. This museum has folk art and contemporary art focused on erotic themes as well as a very interesting historical section of photographs of the 'red light' district in earlier times. A great collection of erotic art from all cultures, very entertaining. Don't miss out the top floor where we were pleasantly surprised to discover a man dressed in bondage attire. Said gentleman was more than happy to pose for a photo and even extended his hospitality as far as offering us a strip tease! more

I was pleasantly surprised at the extent of the collections. I was also pleasantly surprised at the handsome young man dancing on the top floor. A great place to view artifacts and memorabilia from days past on all matter of sex, sexuality and the human condition which spans the cultures and ages. Skip the Moulin Rouge and wind an hour or so here. more

This was an incredible oportunity to explore erotic art from many cultures in one location. Having studied this from art history it was fascinating to see first hand. Most may not appreciate this, but if you are an open minded individual ready for exploration of cultures and eroticism this is for you. Absolutely stunning! more
