This was right behind Notre Dame. We stopped in on a Saturday and there was a service going on. Beautiful. Make a stop here, even for 5 minutes you can't go wrong.

Parisien area without the American chains. Everything one could want while visiting Paris. Close to the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay. Nice restaurants, local vibe for cafe's wine and people watching

You really need to do your homework here as you could easily spend days seeing the many varied sites in this district. The restaurants are varied, the literary s"spots" are many, the fashion stores are by the hundreds.....then there are the history/church sites to see. But whatever you decide on, this is a marvellous section of the city.

Rented an apartment for 9 nights near St. Germain Church. 1/2 or less miles to the Lourve, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, St. Sulpice, D'Orsay, Tuilleries. Only slightly further to the Pantheon, Grand/Petit Palais, Orangerie. Great location.
