I live in Paris and comparing this to Target is crazy. the quality of clothes is dismal and expensive. The food areas are never clean and are so cramped, you couldn't swing a cat. Give me Target any day! more

I love this store, it has saved my life on more than one trip to Paris. If you forget something or are traveling on a budget, this is the "go to" place in Paris....you will most likely find everything you need and for much less than other department stores or boutiques. That bottle of Evian that cost five euros at... more

I really love Monoprix! If you are in need of some American junk food and liquor, this is the place to go. LOL You can buy anything from a cheap bikini to a box of Pringles potato chips. Monoprix is a full-fledged grocery store and Target-style clothing store that will definitely cater to your families' needs. more

In Paris I have found Monoprix the best place to shop for just about everything. Last trip I left my make -up back in the states and had to restock . The beautician at Monoprix was great and I got out of it reasonably. The prices are moderate for the level of merchandise they sell and the variety of goods... more

I just got home to the US bought several packages of coffee and noticed they have an expiration that is 5 months ago. Cashiers dont speak English which is a bit difficult when you have questions, lines are very slow and long. more

Last week me and my wife were in Paris. We bought some parfumes at monoprix near opera house and paid the money. We spoke English with the staff. There was no problem until this time. Than someone stole my wallet. When I realised this I ran to the security and the other staff, I tried to tell about the problem. But... more

Enjoyed browsing through the store. Seemed like good prices for Paris. We were there in May. I also bought something that I really liked at this store. My husband didn't pack enough undershirts so we went in to buy one V-neck undershirt. It is a Derby biologique and its great. Very soft and has held its shape really well for... more

I moved to Paris in August of 2005. Because I was missing home I wanted to hold a Thanksgiving dinner with 14 of our new French friends. I ordered a turkey from Monoprix on Rue des Ternes and to my horror it was not there! We were told that we could only have the turkey on the morning of our... more

My opinion of Monoprix is that it is a French style food super market, with good choices and prices. It also usually has an additional selection of dry goods which fall into the "5 & 10" class here in the states. I rarely find anything discounted, only less espensive items, whose qualities refect the prices. It is a huge chain... more

Monoprix is a great place to shop for trendy, fun items at great places. You can also find some wonderful small gifts to take home that don't cost a fortune, things like mustards, chocolate and soaps. On that note, if anyone from Monoprix reads this, I bought some perfume there that I fell in love with. It's called Vanille Bourbon... more
