Not as many famous and well known people as Pere Lachaise, but as a Sarte / De Beauvoir fan was keen to see the grave. Some interesting ones and a nice walk - we walked back via the various gardens that eventually lead to Luxembourg Gardens and it was lovely.

Sartre, de Beauvoir, Serge Gainsbourg. A cultural momument of great but dead French people. For the ultimate cemetary experience, however, you need to get your live butt over to Pere Lachaise, the true gothic necropolis of the city.

Beautifull cemetery where you can visit the graves of Serge Gainsbourg and Jean-Paul Sartre (and lot's of other musicians, writers, artists). Especially during autumn, when the leafs of the big threes are in colours, it's great to take a stroll.
