As chocolate fans who have been to Paris many times we thought this would be a delightful and interesting thing to do and we weren't disappointed. Our guide, Carine was friendly and knows her stuff. We learnt about the differences between French, Belgian and Swiss chocolate, the signature chocolates of the four Paris makers we visited, and the manufacturing process... More

I booked the Chocolate Tasting tour for my family as part of our recent trip to Paris. I thought it would be a fun experience for all of us especially my two daughters: It certainly was. Our tour guide Carine was fantastic. She was punctual and she promised me that she would make it a fun filled experience, especially for... More

I booked the Gourmet tour for me and my partner. There are two stars because the email contact was friendly and maybe the website was just very very very misleading to me. Basicly you walk through streets, get rushed in shops and the guide buys you always little pieces of what she thinks is good French food. Afterwards you can... More

Our tour guide was amazing, nice and fun (she was called Carine). She took us, on a very sunny March day, to some wonderful neighborhoods in Paris such as the Faubourg Saint Honore, Madaleine, Opera etc. We learned a lot about chocolate, French pastries such as macarons, financies, paris-brest ... We were completely full after only 1 hour in the... More

Carine is a pleasant and informative tour guide of upscale Parisian chocolates. She loves chocolate, learned about it and built a chocolate tour that covers a lot of material -- the history, geography, the basics of processing and how to identify the different types. We met her on Rue Madelaine and visited 4 different high-end chocolate shops in that neighborhood.... More

If you are looking for something a little different to do then this is a really great way to have an overview, and learn more about French food. For two and a half hours Carine guided us on a wonderful walking picnic around St Germain. She tailored the tour to suit our tastes. Some of the things we enjoyed on... More

I had a couple of free hours between 2 meetings. I decided to do a chocolate tour since I was hungry and I didnt want to eat alone - and I like chocolate a lot. I learned a lot and that was the perfect sweet break. More

We tried this cheesetasting because we loved camembert and we were willing to discover more about the other French cheeses. We embarked on a 2-hour cheese discovery tasting and we tried around 12 different cheeses: some were blue cheeses, other were goat cheeses, etc. For each, we learned how and where it was made, how to slice it, etc. We... We went to France on hols recently with my French boyfriend. We came across the Tours for Foodies organisation and saw their Baguette and croissants tours. I thought it would be a great idea to learn how to bake some French patisserie so we could bake some nice croissants and baguette back home in Oz. The tour was in English,... More

I booked a French bakery class with Tour for foodies. It was awesome! We were a small group, so we could both have so much fun and learn at the same time- and eat, of course! We made some baguettes, croissants and "pain au chocolat". It does not take too long and it is really something unique to do. I... More
