I would recommend against this tour in the off season. In the fall and winter, the buses only come every half an hour (sometimes the waits are longer) which makes getting on or interconnecting between the four different routes rather inconvenient. The English commentary is poor. If you are staying in a central location, I would seriously suggest that visitors... more

And apparently WWII didn't come anywhere near Paris. In addition to seeing the sights I was interested in hearing about some of the modern history attached to this beautiful city.. The only thing they mentioned after 1920 was the student uprising in the 1960's. We purchased our tickets at 2pm boarded a bus. we got off at the Arc de... more

The Open Bus Tours advertises its services through Paris Visité card, in which the company states that you are entitled to 4 EUR discount if you show your Paris Visité Card. The reality is - that we learned from the 3 rd bus driver who spoke some English the two before him only said "No,no,no" - that the only way... more

I did all four loops in one day. Good points: (a) the routes cover a lot of Paris; (b) the frequency of the buses is excellent – in 6 boardings my longest wait was 10 minutes and the buses were never full when I wanted to get on; (c) the earpiece jacks for the commentary worked every time. Bad points:... more

We purchased the 2 day pass, which included the Batobus. There are 4 routes, which are very comprehensve , although many of us had some difficulty with the headphones provided. you have to press the number of the language you want & unfortunately we missed several attractions by fiddling with the head set. we saved a lot of money, by using... more

This is a cheap and great way to see Paris, getting on and off at any of the many bus stops all around the city. Great way to spend the day. more

Rick Steve's travel guide suggested the L'Open Bus Tours, so we decided it would be a good activity for our first day in Paris because it takes you to the major sites of Paris, and sitting on the upper deck really gives you a feel for the different Paris neighborhoods. We bought a two-day pass since is was a better... more

Multiple lines make up this tour bus system, but only the Green and Yellow will matter. Avoid the blue line at all cost. This is a great way to see the hot spots in Paris in a short amount of time. Just make sure you can get on the top to see the sites. Many of the audio ports did... more

My young family and I (five of us) had a two-day pass for L'OpenTour bus tour as part of the package from the travel agent for our trip to Paris. Looking on the Internet for information, I found all the negative reviews on TripAdvisor and was honestly expecting the worst. Well, I have to say, the whole experience was *fine*.... more

We have just finished a 2 day stay in Paris (July 09) and as we were staying at the Mercure Paris Terminal Nord, this bus stopped across the road, we thought it would be a good idea. On our first full day, we were at the bus stop for the first bus of the day on the yellow line, at... more
