A must for every visit. Sadly the atmosphere is spoilt by too many of we visitors - well, that's Paris. It is crowded in the Louve, Notre Dame and all the other great and wonderful sites of this charming city.

Lovely to walk around, so many interesting things to see, interspersed with stops for drinks and watching the world go by.
All just a wonderful few hours of meandering around.

We liked the old buildings, the old bridges, the views of the Seine. However as you can imagine on a nice sunny day does get very busy.

The small island is surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the city but it certainly has a character different from that. Lovely day out and ample seating. Lots of cafes around, but the Conciergerie is not worth 12 Euros 50.
