You can walk all town surrounded by walls like fort. Signs are placed in all major intersection with directions which side to go fo see attraction. Once you come out of back side of town trhough small gate you cas see the salt field not immediately you have to walk may be 5-6 more minutes, its like salt fields in... More

I have visited Aigues Mortes as my first time and during the winter. The streets are very quiet and relaxing to walk while you have time to visit the local stores with no crowds. There are also very good small restaurants where I enjoyed good food and wine. Definetly I recomend this place for the winter More

We took a train tour in the Salins salt production facility and it was really not worth the time. You can see the same sights from the surrounding roads and have even better value visiting Listel's winery just next door.
