I think this is a beautiful cathedral, though it's not that large. There are some nice paintings, statues and chandeliers. The courtyard leading up to the cathedral is pretty as well. No fee, so might as well pop your head in and visit.

... not exactly a beauty like all the other Cathedrals in France or Spain but it has its own history and it is a charming cathedral to visit in Perpignan. It is lively during the Easter celebration.

The major project of restoring the Cathedral is still under way. You can still visit the Cathedral and see the progress. I just hope that the people who make decisions on protecting Perpignan's heritage will rethink their policy of installing modern halogen street lights in such an historic area....
