The palace is in a pleasant setting within its own grounds but there is little to see other than the building itself and its interiors which are empty. More

Very interesting but steer clear of the official guides: a 20 minute history lecture before being started on the castle tour? Not necessary. More

About a 25-minute walk from the center of town, this monument is worth a visit. When you enter, there is a very pretty courtyard. Once you enter, you can tour the different rooms (which are bare), and walk all the way to the top of the fortress. There are some very pretty views of Perpignan from the top. More

This palace is absolutely immaculate and offers views over the whole of the Perpignan area. Some of the halls (around 4) and churches (around three) are truly atmospheric of the middle ages. More

Love this castle, so easy to get get and you can get some fantastic views of Perpignan, do not pay to see the rooms as they have nothing in them. Just go up to the top part and you can get a nice tour of the place for free. More

Beautiful castle with mixed features of both the Roman and Gothic style, and the added influence of Catalan architecture. Beatiful views of the city at the top of the main tower. Cheap entrance fee (4eur adult) with interesting tour guide included. More

If you are staying in Perpignan it's worth a trip up to the Palais not least for the amazing view from the top of the Homage Tower, here you get an excellent 360 view across the city, over to the mountains and across to the sea. There's a illustration up there to point out the sites. The Palais is surrounded... More
