The possibility to visit Limoges' renowned porcelain factory and get a guided tour showing all stages of porcelain production was the major attraction for my family with 3 young kids. Potteries were very beautiful, but didn't feel that they were bargain. It was still pricey (is it because we didn't visit there in the sale season?) and the staffs there were not particularly kind. I would rather recommend visiting Aix-sur-Vienne - shops there are much kinder and bigger - and reasonable price! More

Bernadaud presents a superb display of traditional making of porcelai as well as design both traditional and contemporary. It is one of the best industrial museum I have seen. The tour is conducted in several languages, takes about an hour and is very informative. The seconds shop is a must to end the tour and you will not leave empty... More
