Exterior is quite unique. Interior is in pristine condition. The formal gardens overlooking the river nearby are superb and the Toulouse-Lautrec museum is just steps away. More

Need to spend at least two hours here. Include the Great Choir and the Treasury. Listen to the enormous organ. The ceiling with blue basis is wonderful. We were lucky to see a local wedding there. More

The outside does not prepare you at all for the inside of the building. Well worth a visit. More

The other reviews are dead on. Exterior not impressive compared to other cathedrals, except for the size, but the interior is one of the most ornate I've seen around the world. I was lucky enough to attend an organ recital, and the organ is magnificent. If you are anywhere in the region, it's worth a trip to Albi just for... More

The towering brick exterior gives no clue to the interior. The painted decorative panels are brilliant and the carving is top quality. Unusually, the organ pipe work straddles the altar. More

Imposing Cathederal both outside with its fortified style and inside with its painted walls and murals, a pay to view treasure and inner sanctuary are also worth checking out. More

The largest brick built building in Europe..and very small bricks. Beautiful painted walls inside and lots of red marble. More

Saint Cecile is a truly amazing structure that you need to see if you are in the Midi-Pyrenees. It is the largest brick building in the world and a world heritage site. The outside, except for the entrance, is rather austere but the interior makes this one of the most beautiful churches I've seen. The craftsmanship of the stonework is... More

Fantastic art work and ambience. Best to go early in the morning or late afternoon, just before closing time. It can be rather crowded at other times. More
