Adjacent to the Cathedral it is a former Bishop's palace and was just renovated in early 2012. Displays are beautifully arranged. For Toulouse-Latrec fans this is a must. More

A thousand paintings and posters by Toulouse-Lautrec extending from his first as a teen through his training in Paris and his subsequent life there to his last paintings suggesting his style may have been on the verge of changing. The collection is missing some of the more evocative works that are exhibited in museums throughout the world. Great tour in... More

We were really looking forward to visiting this museum and when we arrived there was a very long queue to get to the desk to pay.I think they must have been having a bad day because mere was only one chap trying to handle crowds of people. It's 8 euro's entrance fee and I felt 5 would have been plenty.... More

if you like his art work you will love this museum. it has art work that his mother tried to give to the Loive but they refused so the mayor of Albi brought them to this fine museum. it tells of his life, a very short one, and the subjects he loved to paint and draw. they have many of... More

This is another "must see" in Albi along with the cathedrale. Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec is one of the most interesting painters of his time, along with Cezanne, van Gogh and Gauguin and having suffered from a range of health problems linked it is said to his family in-breeding. He died at the early age of 36 with effects arising from... More

Besides Toulouse-Lautrec is born in Albi, he is also very famous for his affiche with the dancers from the Moulin Rouge. Very famous French painter with a dramatic history. The museum has been re-arranged since it is classified at the Unesco, so it is event prettier and interesting! More

I visited in 2009 and liked it so much went again last week. The gallery has been improved but was disappointed the larger works seem to have disappeared. The entry price of 8 euro seemed a bit steep. However, if you are a fan of his painting well worth the time to see. More than the museum is the charming... More

Lautrec is not my cup of tea but the gallery has some interesting art and seeks to give some context and background to his work. More

We liked this when we visited in 2008 but since then it has, we hear, been upgraded. Also do not miss the cathedral in Albi - strange in brick with the most extraordinary painting on the West wall More
