I enjoyed the Bemberg Foundation Museum very much . I saw fine Italian paintings(Ubertini,Guardi,Canaletto,Titian,Jacopo Tintoretto),splendid French paintings(Pater,Lancret,Robert,Corneille de Lyon,Armand Guillaumin,Sisley,Monet,Pissarro,Bonnard,Marquet,Henri Cross,and an enormous collection of Bonnards)and wonderful Netherlandish paintings(Adrien Isenbrant,Gerard David,Ambrosius Benson). This museum is smaller than Musee Augustins,but the quality of paintings is outstanding. It is Toulouse's answer to New York City's Frick Museum. The staff here was very... more
