We have crossed the channel with several ferry companies but our preferred shipping line is DFDS. We found the ships cleaner and staff more friendly. We discovered the very top restaurant/cafe/bistro with more comfortable chairs - also proper cups for coffee - instead of plastic/paper. Very busy on the Friday sailing. Lots of children, but found two seats and kept them. Very short of toilets. More

Quiet Cross-Overs, without Touring Cars & busses by regular services. Every 2 hrs a sailing. (one less on sat. evening). Verry nice, but long waiting times by check-inn. Calais services = faster check in. More
