Via his Facebook page and e-mail he continues to offer "after tour" advice on books and history and these clients return again for more tours. « less

Our tour was nothing less then wonderful and extremely well done as Paul's two day "American Experience" tour had us reliving D-Day from Utah Beach, Point du Hoc, Omaha Beach and many places inbetween. Hearing about individual stories of what played out over the course of the landing in Normandy and subsequent days really made it come "alive" for us... More

If you are interested not only in the history of D Day but of the personal stories of the men who were engaged in the action, Paul Woodadge is the guide you want. Paul not only has the knowledge of what occurred and when, but ,as a master teacher, he has the capacity to describe the personalities and the impact... More

I spent 3 days with Paul, taking the 2 day "D-Day" and the 1 day "Band of Brothers" tours. Paul started his tour by outlining the scope and objectives of the D-Day invasion, and then took us to places where battles key to the allied success were fought. Many of these places were not popular tourist spots, some of them... More

Easy to see the famous sites…but what makes Paul great is the inclusion of the famous as well as sites that were key to the battle for Normandy but are not publicized. I recently did the two day mon/tue tour and could not have been happier…Paul is fantastic…would recommend to anyone looking for complete understanding of what happened in the... More

I thoroughly enjoyed this 2 day tour. Paul Woodadge is knowledgeable, witty and flexible. He's a gem. I've taken tours from others, some quite good, but he's the best I've seen. There's no comparison. I benefited from the questions other members posed. The result from our varied backgrounds was very helpful to me. I came away even more impressed with... More

We traveled with Paul a few years ago. Paul is a true historian and fabulous guide. We shall never forget the days we spent on tours with him....the stories, oh the stories. Places and names new to us, with stories of remarkable courage. Villages, churches, cemeteries, lanes, hedgerows, the beaches, craters on Pointe du Hoc. Would give Paul 10 stars... More

My wife and I hired Paul Woodage for his Band of Brothers tour which covers episodes 2 and 3 for those familiar with the HBO series. Paul worked on the HBO series and knows both the veterans and the actors who portrayed them. He is 100% legit the best in Normandy based on what I experienced and what I've heard... More
