This was the only historical building open on 1 May i.e. all the museums were closed. It didn't look like an upturned boat to me - it just looked like a church with a wooden roof. The church, very unusually, has a double sloping roof (and two naves). Inside the first one it feels like upside-down ship's hull - the place was completed by the local boat craftsmen and it shows.
