I've been to a few other butterfly houses [in the States] and was quite disappointed by this one. There seemed to be less than half a dozen species flying around- they all looked the same! Plus, it was quite small [30 min. max visit], and quite expensive.

It was a real surprise to discover this butterfly park in Honfleur. There are thousands of butterlies fluttering around in the forest like atmosphere. There are places to sit and watch them and a number of displays illustrating their life cycle.

Naturospace was a nice little attraction just away from the main strip in Honfleur. We visited in the morning, though it was still fairly busy, even off season.
Really interesting, though you couldn't spend more than an hour or so, as it is fairly small.

It is located in the park, along the bay just 5 minutes from the port.
You just do not expect a tropical butterfly park in Honfleur.

Hundreds of butterflies of all different size & colour fluttering round a fairly small tropical garden. Some landed on our hands. Interesting & peaceful.
