We just spent 5 days in the Gorges du Verdon. On the 1st day we drove along La Corniche Sublime (D71) on south-side of the gorge stopping off at Aiguines, Trigance and the Pont de l'Artuby. It is no exaggeration to say that Les Gorges du Verdon can compete with the Grand Canyon for beauty. We were just gob-smacked at how spectacular the gorges were.
