Part of the pleasure of wandering around in Aix is poking your nose into unexpected corners. The cobbled courtyard of the Hotel de Ville is one of those... even better on a Saturday morning when the flower market is in the square in front of the building.

You must see the pavement in the courtyard made up of river stones. Go on a Saturday as many wedding take place here and beautiful to see. You can access the first floor by the center staircase to take photos of the old mansion. Then there are also restrooms up there .
