Wonderful exhibition of ceramics, including a stunning collection of work by Roger Collet (running to 7 May 2012). Several fascinating pieces by Picasso. The assistant in the gift shop was very enthusiastic about the work by les Caprons and showed us where to find the sculptures dotted around the town.

worth a day trip up from cannes or Nice, Picasso and many other ceramists worked in this area. the Museum has some works by Picasso. Plan to have lunch in the area in some of the many charming bistros and cafes.

Vallauris Golfe Juan is situated on the French Riveria between Antibes and Cannes. Picasso diversified into ceramic making in this colourful village,hence colourful ceramic artisans shops. Overall, a great destination for a relaxing break and excellent geographical location for exploring the French Riveria. Self catering modern apartments are available for rent at 'Residence Odyssee" . Definetly worth a stay whilst...
