We have been to Isola 2000 twice now, it really is a lovely place to ski for intermediates and beginners. Not the prettiest resort though, and not much in terms of nightlife. However we like it. I would recommend Les Terrases D'Zur. I think they offer good size accommodation - ours was split over two floors. Its near the funicular... more

The Isola 2000 ski resort was built in the 1970's and boy does it show !!! The skiing however is excellent, with a few good green runs, plenty of challenging blues, and some good reds (I didn't ski the blacks). A good family resort, which gets a bit busy at the weekend with day-trippers, it has a ski school, play... more

Isola 2000 is brilliant for beginners and intermediate skiers, as every lift comes out at a long, blue run. If you like good apres-ski too, it's not a good resort. There are several reasonable restaurants all with similar menus, a rip-off chemist, two good supermarkets, but the resort is ugly. more
