Galeries Lafayette is a landmark store in Paris and has branches elsewhere in France and fits well in the historic Massena setting in Nice. As a department store is caters for all ranges with a particular appeal for high end names and prices. There is an interesting gourmet section in the bottom floor. More

Well, french great fashion in the middle of the splendid brand new Place Massena, great store, not very pleasant staff but great great store. (Try also the gourmet food supermarket downstairs, just amazing) and Hediard restaurant, cheap, good and great view on the 4 or 5th floor. More

I was expecting great things from this store and was sadly disappointed. The staff are rather offhand and some are positively rude. I actually cut my foot on a dropped jar of jam that was just lying on the floor in pieces and I limped to the cashier's desk to seek some first aid, spurting blood everywhere as I went.... More

It's a department store...nothing too exciting. Seems to always have someone staring at you making sure you aren't stealing or handling the items incorrectly. More
