Great - it's all free, that's entry and parking (keep driving round and a place will magically appear!). That's the hard bit but when you are up there the views are spectacular. Beware as the route signs from city centre are non existant until you are almost there. More

We visited the Basilica in May 2012, and was taken aback by the magnificence of the cathedral, both interior and exterior. The location also commands a magnificent view of Marseille and beyond. Parking is at a premium, and it is better to arrive early, before tour buses start unloading its passengers. For those with mobility problem, there is an elevator... More

The cathedral is inspiring and beautiful. It was in servicwe while we were there and was simply awe inspiring. The view from the top floors of the cathedral are spectacular, you can see the entire city, the habours, and the mountains above. This is not to be missed. I recommend taking Le Petit Train to the top, nice little city... More

The church dominates the Maresille skyline, and there is no charge to visit. It is always hard to consider how these churches were built when they were without the benefit of technology and labor saving machinery. More
