We took a ferry ride to Chateau D'if. It was reasonably crowded, but we got seats ok. The harbour takes on a different aspect from a ferry, which is interesting. The ride was smooth & once outside the harbour, very fast. My wife & I love to see cities from ferries, rather than railway cars. The hotel at which we...

Going and coming across the port from the city hall to "la place aux Huiles", a way to take a shortcut and enjoy the harbor.

Loved this! Free crossings from one side of the Vieux Port to the other. Watch out for the break in service between 1230 and 1315. Gives you another view of the city and is extremely convenient
