Utnil we visited we didn't realise how well preserved the former Roman town of Glanum was. While not large, it is well worht a visit. Staying near this archeological site so decided to spend a morning there and at the Saint Paul de Mausole monastery where Van Gogh recuperated after cutting off his ear. This site has one of the best preserved archaeological sites in Europe. It is not to be missed if you are within driving distance. While it is small it is filled with many interesting and unique things to view. It is easy to walk around and view.
