this is a fast tram style cable car that soars up to the top of the grands montets mountain. up there it's a different world...you see people ice climbing and mountaineering. i felt very safe but the cable car ride is scary!!!
also i felt the altitude quite severely at the top, but that did little to spoil the wonderful...
