This is my favourite lift for hiking in Chamonix. It takes you up from the base in Les Praz de Chamonix to a midpoint on the south-facing side of the valley. From here you can walk across the valley at various heights, up to points like the Lac Blanc, or down to Chamonix or Vallorcine. We continued up the lift... more
