The lake area itself was nice and cool considering the outer summer temperatures. I am sure a trek uphill would provide much better views. Other than this there isnt much to do around there other than a small church. Good place to stop for a bit, but not sure if it is worth a trip all the way from Baden... More

This place can be so overcrowded. It is over-rated. The tour buses all stop here. There is of course a large kitschy gift shop and a restaurant, but nothing special. The lake is small and there is not much to see, but for those who do venture far when traveling, I am sure they would find it gemütlich. More

We stopped here on route to Baden-Baden. It was really busy with a number of coach parties there. However once you walked away from the main crowds at the café there was a nice short walk around the lake.
