We turned up here and it was raining, so we thought it would detract from the visit - it didn't. The waterfalls fell over quite a height and you can walk up alongside them. Really good day out, amazing views, and gives you a good workout climbing the steps and hills. There is a cost fot this attraction, but well... More

This is a great waterfall. However too many tracks and bridges detract from a great natural wonder. The directional signage is also poor not in English. Don't have to be fit just take time to soak in the atmosphere. Also there is a fee for entry which is not advertised anywhere. I got caught just walking in and had to... More

I liked it because it was a perfect spot to take photos, walk while enjoying the outdoors as a family, and it has a great spot to take photos overlooking the city. Our hotel gave us a guest card that allowed for FREE entrance. Win- Win. More

I liked that you could walk/hike all around the Falls and surrounding area. The way the Falls are situated in the forest is what makes them a beautiful destination stop in the Schwarzwald, especially if you like to walk when you get there. We went in the early spring (off season) and we enjoyed the Falls to ourselves.Remember, these are different... We went early in the morning and liked being able to take pics of the falls without people everywhere. Nice and secluded. Not real high but comes down in steps. Very pleasant walking trails More

Went this past weekend to the Black Forest in Triberg, Germany. Visited the Triberg Waterfalls, House go 1000 Clocks and surrounding area. The city sits at the side of a big mountain. It was gorgeous because their was a lot of snow and the waterfall was completely frozen, awesome. Their is plenty of coockoo clock factories and stores in the... More

If you come from the States, you probably aren't going to be impressed with the Germany's highest waterfall. However, just the fact that they made it into a world famous tourist spot is impressive in itself. The presentation of the waterfall --bridges, hiking trails, description signs -- is very well thought out and makes for a nice hike in a... More

Well, it ain't Niagara, but it's sure worth walking to if you find yourself in the area. The town itself is devoted to the cuckoo clock - and selling them ... but the surrounding steep and heavily wooded Black Forest ranges and especially the waterfall are highly picuresque and attractive. You walk to the falls on a natural forest trail... More

When you get to the falls don't go to the official parking places which are costly and far from the falls. Drive on thru the rown to the swimming pool. Right before the pool ther is a small road uo the mountain, go on a little and you get to a small free parking place. go back by foot and... More
