Not much of a jail if you ask for some info you will see why! Worth a visit to see all the drawings the "prisoners" were making on the walls!

This is a nice glimpse into an innocent bygone age. It was a badge of honour to be sentenced to a few days in the prison and it has a lot of sillouttes of past in mates

This place is worth a visit. You can learn what the student went through when they got punished. There are a lot of paintings on the wall made by the students. The ticket also covers an entrance to the library.

We stumbled upon the student jail while walking back to the Christmas market from the university on a side street. The 30 minutes we took to tour the upstairs of the student jail before it closed was adequate. This history of the Student Jail is worth it if you go with a tour guide who can explain the history to you in English. It is a short tour, but filled with interesting stories. I think of the Student Jail often at nights when I hear the college students coming home from the late night parties.
