This is an absolutely great out for families. Plenty of various playgrounds, large open fields, a lake with boats to ride, a butterfly and reptile house, a Chinese tea house and so much more. This is definitely worth a visit. More

Luisenpark is this amazing green paradise in Mannheim! I used to frequent it during the spring and summer months for my daily run. There is a lower-park and an upper-park. I discovered Luisen Park thanks to TA and had a great afternoon there. I was surprised you had to pay to enter (given some activities in the park are extra) however I guess it goes toward maintaining and beautifying the grounds, and the zoo. The lake and (20 minute each way) boat ride was the highlight for me. Very relaxing... More
