Dont miss a boat tour on Konigssee. Beautiful nature, calmness is the least that you can get. We visited in March (not the best time I guess) but still it was very nice. The guide on a boat was telling the story of the lake in German though, so translation was needed. In March the tour only reaches St Bartholomew,...

There is a lake near the "tegelberg bahn" - the rope ride to 2000m beautiful mountain. The ride on the lake is not very expensive, and the boat stops twice: the first one is in the famous st. I've been to Koenigssee three times and it never fails to please. From the blissful heights of Jenner to the Malerwinkl Ring Trail that takes in Painters corner to the famous and fabulous boat ride; it's just one of the great places on Planet Earth.

Incredible crystal clear water here. Surrounded by nature and incredible scenery. Easy to access and you don't have to spend a lot of time here. The tour on the boat is recommended if you have a lot of time.

Koenigsee is stunning. Anyone who is in the area would be foolish not to take the boat tour. (The horn-blowing thing is a little hokey and definitely intended to generate a few extra coins for the tour guide, but what the heck.) Be sure to get off and explore some of the stops.
