Stunning views to the top of the ride on the cable car. The area at the top of the mountain feels otherworldly, in a good way. Something like being on the moon! Definitely worth it, but if you have a fear of heights, it could certainly kick in here.

We weren't sure which lift to experience in Bavaria, but chose the Karwendelbahn due to it's proximity. We had a great time going up the steep lift and hiking around. We spent about 2 hours at the top hiking, but you could certainly spend all day if of interest, or even just 15 minutes if you would like to enjoy...
