The church is beautiful and worth a visit. Afterwards, there is a musician/street performer who is in front of the Hettlage store near St. Michaels. He is very funny; he’s out late at night and is apparently a fixture in Munich. He’ll make you laugh.

We were in München for the Christkindlmarkt and walked into St. Michael's church where the choir was singing Advent music. It was breath taking to see the beautiful gold altar and to hear the choir singing. It felt very celestial.
There is no fee to see the church though they do appreciate donations.

The church is as other big churches in Munich. For the gravecellar one must pay 2 Euros. More Bavarian kings and relatives are burried there. Must say that a strange odor is hanging there.
