Both the Neuschwanstein & Linderhof Royal German Castles are amazing and I recommend that you travel to both locations but use a different tour group. The tour guide appeared to barely speak English and was very hard to understand. Up until the tour reached Linderhof the tour was tolerable however at Linderhof the major problems occurred. The guide arranged to... More

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, in your review you confused „Linderhof“ with „Neuschwanstein“. This can be very misleading for other people reading your review. There is no bus in Linderhof and never will be. There is bus service available in Neuschwanstein to go partly up the way to the castle, however this has nothing to do with Gray Line... More

I recommend against booking this tour with Gray Line. It delivers what it promises, but they shuffle you through both tours with little time to tour the grounds (especially at Linderhof). We did not even have time to see the grotto at Linderhof. The bus did have A/C, but the bus was still kept at around 80 degrees F. Even... More

We are very sorry you did not enjoy your tour with us and felt rushed. In order to see both castles in one day, as the overwhelming majority of our customers wish, it is important that the groups stick to a timetable. Because of this, our tour number 16 to the Royal Castles does not offer the grotto at Linderhof... More

I was with my sister and her husband for their first trip to Germany and since I have been many, many times, planned their entire trip. This included booking a tour through ISANGO! connected to Gray Lines (aka OBER BAYERN). I contacted Gray Line well in advance of my trip to ask about the possiblities of being able to actually... We regret that you were unable to visit the Eagle´s Nest on your recent tour. Before the middle of May, it is generally not possible to go all the way up to the Eagle´s Nest. This is made absolutely clear on our web site as well as in our info broschure on page 20. Also, anyone who works in our... More

We booked this tour through the Viator website, so we didn't really know what company we were going with. When we showed up to get on the bus, we were a little worried because it was packed, but they ended up sending another bus so that everyone was able to sit with their travel companions. We had Ana for the... More

I did 2 tours with them. One to Salzburg and the other to Neuschwanstein /Linderhof A year ago, i did their Neuschwanstein tour. As we had a rather huge group, they offer to pick us up from our hotel and send us to the waiting point, as well as return trip to hotel. The guide gave many useful info along... More

What a waste f space this place is. Whatever you do in Munich, don't do this short tour if the guide is a woman called Maria. She begrudgingly spoke a little in english at 500 words a minute and was incomprehensible. The ticket seller needs training on what customers look like. In future I will look at trip advisor more... Takes in all the major sights, hop on hop off is always a bonus. Little 10 minute stops at the major sights to take a few pics without waiting for the next bus is a nice little touch and well informed guides who provide commentary in English and German as standard with headphoens for other languages More

We took the grand tour of Munich which essentially includes the BMW World, some palace and the Olympic Area. The live commentary is both in German and English and predictably, the english portions are really little and its all mostly in German. Besides, the english of our guide was poor and when we requested for the audio head sets, she... More

I went on this tour December 21, 2011 with Heidi as our tour guide. The pick-up location is very convenient, in front of Karstadt Department Store, directly across from the main train station, due to construction at the station, which is the normal pick-up location. WINTER WEATHER AND THE TOUR-I am a woman in my 50's, having had a herniated... More
